What we collect

Mortgage Well calculations run entirely in your browser. The home price, loan amount, interest rate, and other inputs you enter are not sent to our servers; they live only in your browser tab and any URL you copy from the address bar.

URL sharing

When you change inputs, we encode the calculator's state into the URL as ?scenario=v1.… so you can share or bookmark a scenario. Anyone you send that URL to can see those numbers — treat it like any other shared link. We do not store these scenarios on a server.

Local storage

We may use your browser's localStorage to remember UI preferences. It is never transmitted to us.

What we don't collect

• No Social Security numbers, ID numbers, or birthdates.
• No bank credentials, account numbers, or credit card numbers.
• No mortgage applications.
• No copies of the financial inputs you enter into a calculator.

Advertising and analytics

Mortgage Well does not currently run advertising, affiliate links, or third-party analytics. If any of those are added later, this section will be updated before the integration ships to describe:

• which ad networks, affiliate partners, or analytics vendors we use;
• what cookies, local-storage keys, or device identifiers they set;
• how to opt out where the vendor offers a choice;
• any disclosure copy we're required to show alongside partner content.

If we add analytics, we'll choose a privacy-friendly option (cookieless or with anonymized IPs) and name it on this page. The financial inputs you enter into a calculator will never be sent to an analytics or ad server. Calculator math, assumptions, and editorial recommendations stay independent of any ad placement or affiliate relationship.

Affiliate disclosure

We currently have no affiliate or partner relationships. If a future page contains affiliate links, that page will carry a clear disclosure stating the relationship and this section will be updated to name the partner.
